At the September Dinner Meeting, a cheque for £3,650 was presented to the Beacon of Hope Charity, who are based at Aberystwyth, for the purpose of funding a "Hospice at Home" nurse for the Ceredigion area.  The nurses provide nursing services to seriously ill and terminally ill patients in their home by providing night and day care to those who require it.
