2011 Businessperson's Lunch

The Businessperson's Lunch this year will be held at Marine Hotel on Wednesday 7 December 2011 commencing at 1pm.  Tickets are available from T J Davies Jewellers, Aberystwyth or by contacting Aberystwyth Lions Club via this website.

Children in Need 2011

Members again rattled collecting tins on the streets of Aberystwyth on behalf of the BBC Charity "Children in Need" on 18 November. 

This year we were ably assisted by the guitar playing local duo Noel and Ken of Fenderbender who provided musical entertainment and a party of students from Aberystwyth Further Education College who collected a total of £595, with one student collecting £118.50! 

A total of £1124.21 has been sent off to Children in Need and our sincere thanks go to all who contributed and to the two musicians and group of students who worked hard raising the amount.
