Joining Lions

Membership of a Lions Club is by invitation.

Lions are always pleased to receive applications from like-minded people who wish to join and anyone can apply to be considered.  Eventual admission is usually by members' vote.

Members of both sexes and ages over 18, can join.

We are currently 26 members.

On Thursday 22 November 2007, Dr. Selwyn Williams of Capel Bangor was made a member of Aberystwyth Lions at a "badging" ceremony carried out by Lion President for 2007 - 2008, Rory Wilson and Selwyn's sponsor, Lion David Thomas.

At this year's Charter Dinner, Mr. Ieuan Thomas was made a member of the club at an installation in the presence of members and guests at the dinner.   Pictured l - r are Lion President Rory, New Lion member Ieuan and his sponsor Lion Aled presenting him with his membership pin.
