Lion President Selwyn Presents Cheque to Aberystwyth Branch of Royal British Legion

Lion President Selwyn presents a cheque for £1600 to Legion Chairman Tom Price. The money was raised during the Lions Bike Ride in the summer. To Lion President's right is Lion Gareth Hughes wearing his British Legion hat as Hon Sec of the Aberystwyth Branch. The money will go towards assisting individual ex service men and women in the locality

On 25 June 2011, Lion Selwyn Williams took over as President of Aberystwyth Lions at a ceremony performed at the Plas Antaron Hotel.
The photograph shows Past Lion President Penny Bradfield-Jones placing the President's Chain of Office around Lion President Selwyn, who in turn is placing the 1st Vice President's Chain of Office on Lion Marnie Taylor.
